- 2 1/2 lbs spinach washed and cleaned
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 cup Swiss cheese shredded
- Boil the spinach in salted water for about 20 minutes; drain.
- Place spinach, salt and pepper, butter and cheese in a baking dish, Mix with a fork to combine.
- Bake in a moderate oven for about 15 minutes or until the top of the spinach is browned.
- Serve immediately.
