Spinach Au Gratin


  • 2 1/2 lbs spinach washed and cleaned
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup Swiss cheese shredded


  1. Boil the spinach in salted water for about 20 minutes; drain.
  2. Place spinach, salt and pepper, butter and cheese in a baking dish, Mix with a fork to combine.
  3. Bake in a moderate oven for about 15 minutes or until the top of the spinach is browned.
  4. Serve immediately.
