French Poppers

  • 10 to 12 seeded jalapeño halves
  • Brie
  • 10 to 12 dried apricots
  • 1 package smoked duck bacon


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. For each popper, place a tablespoon-size wedge of Brie and 1 dried apricot in the jalapeño half. Wrap with a piece of smoked duck bacon, using skewer or toothpick to secure.
  3. Place on a wire rack over a sheet pan. Roast about 20 minutes until cheese melts and bacon crisps.
  4. Poppers could also be grilled if you prefer.
