Mobile Kitchen Will be Ready to Serve Meals to First Responders and Neighbors Affected by the Recent Tornado
Central Market/H-E-B’s Mobile Kitchen II will arrive today at noon to Central Market’s Preston Royal location at the Preston Royal Shopping Center. The Central Market store at this location and all surrounding businesses in the shopping center are currently closed due to severe storm damage experienced during Sunday night’s tornado.
The Mobile Kitchen will be available to serve meals to first responders, construction workers and neighbors affected by the tornado starting Thursday, Oct. 24 through Saturday, Oct. 26 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. H-E-B and Central Market partners will be prepared to serve up to 800 meals for each breakfast, lunch and dinner through Saturday. All meals are free to these individuals.
In addition, Central Market will provide complimentary cleaning supply kits to the first 500 homeowners starting Thursday morning, and produce, snacks and waters will be available on site Sunday, Oct. 27 through Tuesday, Oct. 29.
The Mobile Kitchen arrives Wednesday, Oct. 23 at noon by Dallas Police escort in the Preston Royal Shopping Center.
Meals will be served from the Mobile Kitchen: Thursday, Oct. 24 through Saturday, Oct. 26
Breakfast hours: 8 – 10 a.m.
Lunch hours: Noon – 2 p.m.
Dinner hours: 4 – 6 p.m. (7 p.m. curfew in place)

The Mobile Kitchen II is designed to be a stand-alone food preparation facility that is utilized for on-site food preparations at Central Market/H-E-B Feast of Sharing dinners and during natural disaster emergency relief efforts.
