Apple Fritter Bread (yep, that’s it in the picture) is a sweet loaf of soft and tender dough filled with heirloom Northern Spy apples, which have a rich, mild sweetness, and then drizzled with icing. It’s a delicious treat for breakfast, but also your afternoon pick-me-up, but I also had a slice as a late-night snack last night and it was perfect then too.
A favorite from last year that is back by popular demand is the Apple Upside-Down Cake. A moist and buttery sour cream cake topped topped with Granny Smith apple slices, that we baked in more butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Granny Smith apples are classic baking apples because their tartness plays well with sweetness of cakes and pies, as well, they hold their shape well when cooked.
Morning Sunshine Apple Muffins start with a moist buttermilk muffin and then are packed with diced apples, shredded carrots, coconut, raisins, pineapples, and walnuts. Sure to brighten your morning.
If bars are your things, then do not miss the Apple Caramel Crumb Bars. Diced apples tossed in cinnamon and melty caramel, baked on a classic buttery crust, then topped with streusel and drizzled with decadent caramel. Available individually, but we would recommend that you just grab the three pack.
Stop in now through October 3rd and grab one of our limited time apple sweets. That one tooth will thank you.
