Heidi, our Beer & Wine Manager in San Antonio, did a little year-end review and pulled together her favorite wine selections from 2016 to share with you.

While 2017 will surely bring many new and delicious discoveries, these gems are worth exploring as we look forward to the new year. Happy tasting!

La Javeline Vouvray
This delicious beauty is only found at Central Market. Its bright, crisp, fruit flavor is a perfect pairing for seafood, rotisserie chicken, and sushi.

Bellafina Prosecco
This is our favorite Prosecco that is on the sweeter side. You’ll taste bright, fresh, apple and pear flavors with a kiss of sweetness.

Pianello Prosecco
A Central Market classic! This choice is simply a best-buy in Prosecco. The delicate apple notes are great with brunch, make perfect mimosas, and pairs great with cheeses of all sorts.

Gran Passione Rosso
Here’s one that’s perfect with everyday foods. It’s a wonderful find from the Veneto with gorgeous fruit flavor.

Doppio Passo Primitivo
A perennial favorite only found at Central Market, this wine always makes the list! It’s a ripe, easy-drinking wine with rich flavors of raspberry and cherry. You’ll love its long, luxurious finish!

Here are a few more of our favorites to look for at your Central Market. You can’t go wrong with any of Heidi’s selections, but if you don’t see something that catches your eye, just ask! All of our Wine & Beer Partners are happy to help you find the selection that perfectly suits your tastes and occasion.
