Cut leftover chicken into bite-sized pieces and sprinkle over a fresh green salad. Add mandarin oranges and drizzle with lemon vinaigrette for lunch. Special Grilled Corn To grill the ears, shuck and place the corn in a foil pan. Coat the ears with butter and olive oil and place the pan on a grill rack so that it is not directly over the flames. Grill until tender, then sprinkle with Ancho Mama's Chile Seasoning or Frontier Herb (a garlic-herb pepper sold in the Bulk department) or dress up with a drizzle of truffle oil. Very Berry Shortcakes Combine 6 cups mixed berries with 2 tablespoons sugar; chill. Whip 1 ½ cups heavy whipping cream with 1 tablespoon sugar; chill. Serve berries, whipped cream (and ice cream) with six split Central Market scones buffet-style to make individual shortcakes. |
