Today's Thanksgiving prep: shop for nonperishables like alcohol. And when you do, pick up a few bottles of sparkly white wine to make mimosas and sangria for your holiday guests.

Mimosas with Cielo Prosecco
Prosecco is a bubbly, fruity wine that makes terrific mimosas. It also makes an excellent aperitif. A simple recipe of half juice and half sparkling wine makes mimosas a quick and easy breakfast or brunch beverage that instantly elevates the event. Juice your own fruit juice or use our Cold Pressed Juice. Both will give the drinks vibrant color and bright, fresh flavor, which will make all the difference. And with so many fabulous fruit juice options, perhaps you need to test a few out before Thanksgiving morning!

Apple Sangria
Apples, cranberries, sparkling white wine, and apple cider make this drink a holiday treat you can serve from Thanksgiving to New Year's. (Recipe and photo thanks to Damn Delicious.)

Yield: 8 servings
Prep Time: 5 minutes to make, 1 hour to chill

INGREDIENTS:
1 (750 mL) bottle white wine: We recommend Matteo Braidot Pinot Grigio. And if you want to add some red to the mix, try Chateau D’Hautefeuille Bordeaux.
1 cup apple cider
1 Honeycrisp apple, sliced
1 Granny Smith apple, sliced
1 pear, sliced
1 cup fresh cranberries
1 (750 mL) bottle sparkling white wine: We recommend Cielo Prosecco.
1 sprig rosemary

DIRECTIONS:
1. In a large pitcher, whisk together white wine, apple cider, apples, pear and cranberries.
2. Let chill in refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
3. Serve over ice with sparkling white wine, garnished with rosemary, if desired.
